The band's early production is profound and humbly bows to the older, unadorned metal. Later production, especially the <a href="spotify:album:4RyhzhA2lGzY4370hy2l6S" data-name="Mortal Burden">Mortal Burden</a>, is more detailed and produced and clearly describes what OVDETH is about.
Bloodbath and Carcass influenced the band in their early stages and left their mark on its music. From these and other influences, OVDETH has devised its own unique, recognizable style.
Founded in 2016, Helsinki-based OVDETH is currently in its original lineup and actively performs whenever realistic opportunities arise.
