Over Yonder is an acoustic band that doesn't really conform to any particular genre, but is heavily influenced by Jeff's Southern upbringing, and his later travels. Their music is often melancholic and romantic, but with a fair amount of humor thrown in.

Jeff grew up in North Carolina, then bounced around from New York to London before crash landing in a small town on the west coast of Norway. His songs are often about the cost of leaving loves behind, and the search for a sense of home.

Jacob Wyrtz has only hopped over the sea from Denmark to Norway, where he works within many genres of music. He calls it "a need to reach as many people as possible through music."
