Overwhelm

Working full-time in sound and audio engineering for medias, Overwhelm has been taking from visual storytelling to provide inspiration for his composition process. His music is very textural. He combines many different styles, instruments and samples together. His work is like short instrumental stories, themselves, in their own re-collected way. For songs like "White Forest", "Ebb & Flow" and "Outro", released in January of 2018, the search and craft of cultural samples was a big part of the writing process. There is something striking about the human quality that these samples bring to electronic music. Especially when taken out of context, these types of field recordings really shine through in the music.
