My name is Uzzi Oyemwen, professionally and popularly known as Oy Kutie. I am a passionate singer, performer, and entertainer with a deep-rooted love for music and the arts. Born on January 23, 2003, I hail from a family with a strong artistic background that greatly influenced my career path.
I am a proud graduate of Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro, and my journey in the entertainment industry began over a decade ago. I was privileged to start my artistic career with the Edoseghe Theater Troupe, owned and managed by my father. For ten years, I actively participated in stage performances, cultural showcases, and musical activities within the troupe. This early exposure not only sharpened my creative skills but also nurtured my passion for good and traditional music, which eventually inspired me to pursue music professionally.
On December 5, 2023, I made a life-changing decision to take music as a career. Following this bold step, I organized my own band consisting of ten talented members, giving birth to Oy Kutie Entertainment. Our debut live performance was successfully held on January 23, 2024, marking the beginning of a new chapter in my career. Later that same year, on October 9, 2024, Oy Kutie Entertainment was officially registered as a recognized musical brand. Just a few days later, on October 13, 2024, I proudly released my first official single titled “Imiefan.”
