Icelandic techno producer Örnólfur Thorlacius produced music under several monikers, but it was his work as Ozy that brought him to the attention of an international audience. For the most part, Thorlacius' work had been confined to Iceland because of the country's insular locale; however, the German techno label Force Inc began to take an interest in the artists affiliated with the Thule label during the early 2000s, namely the work of Exos, Yagya, and Ozy (Thorlacius' techno moniker). In addition to Thule, Ben Sims had released some of Thorlacius' tracks on his Native label as well; before Force Inc brought the Icelandic producer to an international audience with the release of the Tokei full-length in 2002. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi
