German-Iranian rapper PA Sports was born Parham Vakili on April 1, 1990 in Essen, Germany. First using the pseudonym PA Lyricist, he started to rap at the age of 12 and soon participated in freestyle contests. An online EP titled Psychoshit by his rap crew Das Kollektiv brought him to the attention of Eko Fresh, who invited him to guest on his mixtape Fick Deine Story. A debut album was supposed to be released on Eko Fresh's German Dream label, but PA Sports eventually signed with Shrazy Records. Teaming up with KC Rebell, PA Sports formed the duo SAW, which released a mixtape titled Schwarz auf Weiß in 2006, followed by a proper album called Kinder des Zorns in 2008. Later in 2008, PA Sports left Shrazy Records and took a short break from music before returning in 2011 with the release of his debut album, Streben Nach Glück, which featured guest appearances by Tua and Silla. One year later, the follow-up, Vom Glück Zurück, was released. ~ Christian Genzel, Rovi
