Born into a Gambian household in the Bow area of East London Pabs was already an individual surrounded by many musical influences. The 25 year-old rapper prides himself on being a truthful versatile artist with influences from Tinchy Stryder, his brother Villain, Crazy Titch, A Boogie and Polo G. With these influences Pabs began to write his first lyrics at the age of 6 and began recording at the age of 7.

In 2019 is when Pabs decided to take music seriously after a long childhood admiration for football. His witty wordplay and punchlines are what makes Pabs stand out as he likes to reference the sport within his music. With his up-tempo choice of beats Pabs compliments the beat patterns with his words and flow by playing in the pockets of the beat, making it a cohesive and solid song. His ability to apply melodies to his flows makes his songs catchy and a real test of resistance to not to sing along to them. After releasing a few hard and soft releases with captivating visuals such as the melodic “All In”, the head bopping “Different” and the authentic “Nothing to Lose” Pabs began to really make waves on the live circuit in the UK and internationally by performing in Gambia & Denmark and also opening up stadium concerts for African & Reggae/Dancehall musical giants by the likes of Mavado, Jah Cure, Youssou Ndour and JNR Choi.
