Samuel Murana Koroma popularly known as $paco Jay by his stage name was born and raised in the vibrant city of Bonthe town, Bonthe District. $paco Jay discovered his passion for music at an early age of 14 when he was exposed to a diverse range of musical genres that laid the foundation for his future career. $paco Jay’s journey into the world of music began when he stumbled upon African and American collection of classic hip-hop vinyl records. Inspired by the various rhythmic beats and lyrics, he started experimenting with rhymes and beats in his bedroom, honing his skills as rapper, singer and songwriter.
Entry into the Industry:
In 2023, $paco gained recognition through online platforms, showcasing his freestyle abilities and original compositions. His extended play list (EP), "The Young Legend Tape," released independently in September 2021, garnered attention for its raw authenticity and socially conscious lyrics and has got over 17,000 (17k) plays on all streaming platforms. He is currently working on his studio album and has in early 2023 dropped his first single from the album "Escort" which is also available on all streaming platforms. This marked the beginning of his journey into the competitive realm of the music and entertainment industry.
