Hailing from Lowell, Massachusetts, Cambodian-American singer/songwriter “PAILIN”, born Kody Rayuth Pailin, shines his light into the universe with debut single, “Resentment.”
As a Cambodian-American with the family last name of “Pailin”, deriving from Pailin Province within Cambodia, he hopes to represent his heritage as an artist and an amplified voice for others.
Within his large family, karaoke had become not only a form of party entertainment, but a tradition and escape. Recognizing how much joy music has brought him, it became an instant aspiration and new way of life. In his four years of high school, PAILIN was involved in a show choir, where he found himself as an award-winning soloist for many of their shows that toured across New England and the Midwest.
As PAILIN begins to take his baby steps into the music industry, he expresses music can heal all wounds, as it was once there for him in hard times, and is continuing on to help others who may need a voice or connection.
