Paint Job

Paint Job is a unique alternative rock band formed in the Blue Mountains in February of 2021.
When Trevor (frontman) and Sam (lead guitarist) put a call out for a bassist and drummer to join them and create a band, Alex (drummer) answered, reigniting a childhood friendship between himself and Trevor. Peter (bassist) also answered the call, and was already friends with Alex, having attended uni together. The first song they played together was ‘Paint Job’, an original song and the namesake of the band.
Since then, they have written an extensive set list of original songs that encompass powerful lyrics, diverse rhythms and energetic performances. The band has influences varying from folk, indie, heavy metal, grunge and everything in between which makes for a refreshing take on the rock genre. Paint Job has played at various venues around Sydney and the Blue Mountains, including The Vanguard, Frankie's Pizza, Kelly’s On King, The Factory Theatre, The Landsdowne and more. Having been compared to acts such as INXS, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Arctic Monkeys, Australian Crawl and more, Paint Job is sure to get an audience singing and stomping their feet in no time.
