Since the release of their critically-acclaimed 2009 debut Can You Hear Me?, Paint has played 300+ shows from Vancouver to Halifax, including multiple returns to North by Northeast (named one of the top acts of 2012 by The Toronto Star), Canadian Music Week, Indie Week, Hamilton Music Awards and New Music West, and been voted a listener-favourite on 102.1 The Edge.
2013 witnessed Capsulated: Music Videos, a collection of short films for all 10 songs on 2011's Where We Are Today.
In 2015, Paint released a black-and-white film called 11:11 and accompanying soundtrack, Based on Truth and Lies, courtesy of a dedicated fanbase through IndieGogo and the Canadian government's FACTOR program.
The next year brought the FACTOR and IndieGogo-funded (disPLAY), a concert film/live album of mostly unreleased material, filmed to a sold-out audience in Toronto.
In 2018, the band marked its 10-year anniversary with an archives project, digging up the instrumental score for 11:11 entitled Chapter 11; Set The Children Free: The Lost Demos 2011 - 2018; and The Book of Joe, a 316-page photo e-book.
Announcing their closing shop on creating new music and live performance in 2023, in line with their 15th anniversary, Paint released meticulously-compiled "15th anniversary" deluxe editions of Can You Hear Me? and Where We Are Today.
The band continues to maintain their online community and mine the vaults for archival releases "in honour of those who've supported us over the years and years."
