Palafico Honey

Londoners Palafico Honey were conceived by chance when Tom overheard Ellie singing Ella Fitzgerald in the shower. A shared love for soulful vocalists and groove-laden instrumentals, from Sade to Crazy P, led to the band&#39;s debut release &#39;<a href="spotify:album:74NHaqU1LWJeb9FPbYjDR9" data-name="Nothing Sweet">Nothing Sweet</a>&#39; with Midnight Riot in 2018, as <a href="spotify:artist:5PlwfUDgFxoDrX5KZ7vIcx" data-name="Cappa &amp; Daniel-San">Cappa &amp; Daniel-San</a>.

The band renamed as Palafico Honey and moved from Edinburgh to London, producing and recording from home. The music sits somewhere between acoustic soul and nu-disco, indie r&amp;b and funky house. Palafico Honey are hard to pin to one genre. And that&#39;s kind of the point.

Ellie also records under the moniker <a href="spotify:artist:7IXaHCboVc1IOzBqdHmQ1v" data-name="Mr. Beale">Mr. Beale</a>, featuring on the new <a href="spotify:artist:1LfqhJiCiHfVzrBOVaBXc1" data-name="Demuja">Demuja</a> album - while Dan produces under the alias <a href="spotify:artist:6cGawTLJwbdOng4BLrQuOi" data-name="Geo Taguchi">Geo Taguchi</a>, with tracks on both Stolen Groove and Groove Co.
