Ildikó Palágyi is a Budapest-based singer-songwriter known for her uniquely personal and atmospheric compositions. After originally studying classical music, Ildikó graduated from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest in 2016 with a degree in jazz vocals, achieving her Masters degree in 2018. She is a regular performer at Hungarian clubs and festivals and was shortlisted for the prestigious Müpa Jazz Showcase in 2016. In 2018, she released her debut album called ‘Salt’. The animated music video for her ‘Northern Song’ was shortlisted for the Hungarian Music Video Competition. In 2022, her first Hungarian single, ‘Pillangó’ was selected for the prestigious song contest TV-show, ‘A Dal’. On her previous EP Ildikó discovered her own voice on a different level, in her native language. ‘Bíbor’ is the first single of her upcoming album, ‘Légtérkép’.
