Hailing from Columbus Ohio, Pale Grey Lore conjure up their own blend of doom-laden, post-punk-inflected heavy psych rock. The band began as a collaboration between brothers Michael (vocals, guitar, synth, theremin) and Adam Miller (drums), with Donovan Johnson (bass) joining up in the summer of 2014. Xander Roseberry (guitar, backing vocals) was added to the lineup in the winter of 2016. Their eponymous debut album, <a href="spotify:album:7rhmwif87JNUyunimE8Jqt" data-name="Pale Grey Lore">Pale Grey Lore</a>, was originally self-released on limited run CD in June of 2016. Soon after, they were picked up by German label Kozmik Artifactz for a vinyl release via the label's Oak Island Records imprint. In the summer of 2019, Pale Grey Lore signed with Small Stone Records for the release of their sophomore album, <a href="spotify:album:5GMVp7lTrgv1Gx3v5iKd3s" data-name="Eschatology">Eschatology</a>.
