Fusing genres and generations, Paloma creates a sound entirely her own—deeply emotional, technically refined, and fearlessly authentic.
Equally at home in jazz, pop, and classical traditions, Paloma captivates audiences with her electrifying stage presence, poetic songwriting, and vocal maturity far beyond her years.
It’s a rarity that a young singer with a distinctive voice knows that her future will focus on pursuing a musical journey that defies expectations or categories. “I don’t want to be put in a box,” says the vibrant, rising-star Paloma. “I love pop music that is highly produced, but I've always loved jazz and the older artists who are timeless. I'm exploring at this point in my life, blending the two, trying to find a cohesive voice.
Critics rave:
"The Melodies she's composed are exceptional: haunting and subtle, the way the best tunes are."
DOWNBEAT MAGAZINE
“A voice that could stop traffic.” — Just Jazz
“Same rawness and power… Nina Simone brought to it (House of the Rising Sun).”— All About Jazz
"Paloma Dineli Chesky sings much as he [Miles Davis] played it: plangent yet breathy. Chesky has the perfect voice for it, the effect is magical.” — All About Jazz
“If you hear her voice once, you will recognize her the next time. That’s true of other artists who became huge stars because of their unique sounds, like Billie Holiday, Gladys Knight, or Sade.”— Making a Scene
