PAMP is a Chicago emcee raised in the bass heavy streets of Logan Square. Accustomed to the hip-hop culture, Pamp used instrumentals to strengthen his skill as an emcee. Turntables, vinyl records, speakers, headphones and microphones were the tools of the trade. In 1995, Pamp utilized the tools he was given to build his own identity in the industry. In 1996, Pamp was approached by Bear Who? Bear informed Pamp that U.C. Music was searching for artists. Bear presented an idea for a song to Pamp called “BUTTA”. By the end of 1996, Pamp signed with U.C. Music. “BUTTA” was released and became Chicago’s Hard House anthem. In 1997, the release of Pamp’s second song, “SHAKE”, rocked his fans into hysteria. Pamp & Da’ Knox went on tour throughout the United States and Mexico. They shared the stage with artists such as Gilberto Santa Rosa, Ginuwine,Keith Sweat,2 Live Crew,Freak Nasty,Outhere Brothers,K7, Lidell Townsell, Darryl Pandy,George Lamond,Dino Latino, White Knight,DJ Deeon,Fast Eddie,Bear Who?,Lil’ Suzy,Cynthia,Lisette Melendez,Judy Torres,Brenda K Starr,69 Boyz,Shannon, Alisha,Betty D,Frankie J,Amanda Perez and Paul Wall. After the release of Pamp’s third song “SWITCH”, tragedy struck U.C. Music. Andy Adams passed away. Pamp would no longer have an outlet for his music. In June of 2018, Pamp’s journey led him to the release of his 1st full length album titled, “PARTY AT MY PLACE”. In September of 2023, Pamp released his sophomore album “EVICTED”. Welcome to Pamp’s HOUSE.
