Born in Greece, I&#39;ve lived, played, and studied in 12 cities, 6 countries, and 2 continents. In a past life I&#39;ve had two releases with the new wave band <a href="spotify:artist:2fMiB4XTjyPXVnLqqRE0Me" data-name="ART OF PARTIES">ART OF PARTIES</a>, a fun time with my brother, <a href="spotify:artist:6Dv3ih3nlFc6I15IbCg1am" data-name="Dimitrios Vassilakis">Dimitrios Vassilakis</a> and few good friends.
Then came music studies in London, award-wining works for the English National Ballet and the London Chinese Orchestra, graduate studies at UCLA, and an academic career in music perception, psychoacoustics, film music, &amp; noise mitigation.

Disillusioned with academia, I founded AcousticsLab / Sound4Vision in 2016, specializing in Creative and Scientific Consulting in Audio Arts &amp; Acoustics, working with the Hollywood Bowl and the LA Philharmonic, the Port of Los Angeles, The KAABOO Experience and others. In 2020, 30 years after my last release, Covid19 froze all live entertainment, giving me “permission” to return to music-making and the joy that comes with springing new songs out of &#39;nothing.&#39;

No matter what, one thing is for sure: through joy, pain, success, disappointment, exhilarating energy, and debilitating depression ...through it all, music has won. Running on its high!
