Josue Padilla Jimenez better known as Jay was born in San Jose, Costa Rica. At the age of six he immigrated to Australia with his mother.
Jay grew up in the South Western Suburbs of Sydney.
At the age of 8 he started learning to play the guitar by watching musicians play at church. He later learned to play keyboard, base guitar and drums.
At the age of 17 he lived on his own and started getting involved in Rap as a coping mechanism from the day to day lifestyle. His main influences come from Hip Hop, Reggaeton and Salsa but listens to a wide variety of music from Mozart to Immortal Technique.
Father of 4 children he decided to tell his stories through music to share with the world.
