Known by many names — Papa Skitz My Boy Skitzo, SkitzooztikS, and “Your Local Neighborhood Hustler” — Papa Skitz was born in Los Angeles, raised in San Bernardino, and later made the Pacific Northwest home.
Papa Skitz creates for the parents dealing with teens testing limits, younger kids acting out in public, and families doing their best to hold it all together. His music is a mirror for those who still love the culture but have evolved beyond the party lifestyle into something deeper, more grounded, and more meaningful.
Papa Skitz has written sports anthems (official and unofficial) for professional and semi-pro teams (including the Seattle Seahawks and Tacoma Cobras), opened for the Ying Yang Twins and Kevin Hart, collaborated with multi-platinum artists such as Numskull of The Luniz, and partnered with major radio stations for special event songs (Movin 92.5 FM, KMPS 94.1 FM). He’s also produced multi-genre projects, including holiday albums featuring Stephanie Ann Johnson from The Voice.
