When you say that Paper Crowns is the worst parts of Vancouver and Calgary put together, then you’d probably be right. With members unable to shed their Alberta Folk-Americana roots, and without the capacity to hold down a beat on two and four, and other members so deep down the Midwest Emo/Synth Wave rabbit hole that black is all that is in their closets, Paper Crowns is sure to give you a wall of sound which somehow makes you feel like a space cowboy riding a killer wave. With two producers, 6 multi-instrumentalists, and vocals of an angel who somehow found themselves in the interior of BC, Paper Crowns has been sent down to tear up the town and show you how new genuine music isn’t dead.
