<a href="spotify:artist:0mor6cJ1cgi873nutk2unu" data-name="Paper Thieves">Paper Thieves</a> are a Berlin based five-headed psychedelic soul project with roots in New Zealand, Turkey and Germany. Lead singer Leah Christensen creates imagery through spirited storytelling and with the group's commitment to a blend of intricate vocal lines, psychedelic guitar emissions and stimulating rhythms they form a dynamic and playful atmosphere.
The band released their EP ´Koumpounophobia´ (2018) after finishing their first international tour in New Zealand 2018. In 2020, their single "Oh Man" achieved critical acclaim and in spring 2020 they embarked on another NZ tour.
Their upcoming album "The God or the Egg" set to be released in early 2025.
