Parable Fifteen

Parable Fifteen is a Durban-based band comprising four musicians who consider themselves family. Each accomplished musicians in their own right, the band's members - Marc Skarda (Vocals), Adam Fanner (Guitar), Bryce Breeds (Bass Guitar) and Marius Botha (Drums) - have combined their various individual tastes and styles to create a sound that is captivatingly fresh.

Their music, which boasts a winning combination of their vibrant energy and a host of musically intriguing melodies, cannot be pinned down to any specific genre but rather experiments with an eclectic mix of alternative, melodic, anthemic, country and rock.

Originally formed as a songwriting project, Parable Fifteen came into official existence at its debut gig opening December of 2010. Parable Fifteen is currently working on the release of their Third Full-length album and is proud of the early success on their latest lyric video early this year. Their first single, <a href="spotify:track:2pRrMjzzJdoNANoCnl2x6u" data-name="Rain on the Ocean">Rain on the Ocean</a>, was released April of 2013 and by early November it had entered into the Nashville Acoustic Top 40 chart reaching no 8.

Following the first album’s success the band released <a href="spotify:album:2XPVyfXGx24SZxofcFNaYi" data-name="Through the Storm">Through the Storm</a> in 2015, with the smashing hit single <a href="spotify:track:1w9eeyiCMVBXoK3h4KPzbe" data-name="Helluva Ride">Helluva Ride</a> The single continued to climb its way up the local independent charts in SA reaching No1 and Staying there for 15 weeks in a row.

Breaking records in 2021 with four Top 10 charting songs. Parable Fifteen was the only South African Band to have three singles in the Top 50 songs of the year.
