Paradel

ParaDel is the solo project of Rowland (Rowly) Hamilton, which has been active since 2009.

Some background: Rowly grew up in the 90&#39;s, however his musical exposure consisted almost exclusively of 50&#39;s &amp; 60&#39;s pop and rock. Listening to such artists as the <a href="spotify:artist:1eEfMU2AhEo7XnKgL7c304" data-name="Carpenters">Carpenters</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7nwUJBm0HE4ZxD3f5cy5ok" data-name="Aretha Franklin">Aretha Franklin</a> &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:6hnWRPzGGKiapVX1UCdEAC" data-name="Sam Cooke">Sam Cooke</a> to name a few, Rowly developed his focus on a higher vocal range from an early age. Upon reaching his teens, Rowly expanded his musical tastes to the more current rock scene to encompass acts such as <a href="spotify:artist:7jy3rLJdDQY21OgRLCZ9sD" data-name="Foo Fighters">Foo Fighters</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5KDIH2gF0VpelTqyQS7udb" data-name="Staind">Staind</a> &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:2d0hyoQ5ynDBnkvAbJKORj" data-name="Rage Against The Machine">Rage Against The Machine</a> which set Rowly firmly on the road to hard rock. In the late 90s, Rowly&#39;s family relocated to a rural area of Australia where he would complete his schooling and find himself quite isolated from any friends of his age group. During this time, Rowly purchased his first guitar and started teaching himself to play by writing music. In the mid-2000s, Rowly moved back to his hometown of Sydney and focused more seriously on writing and recording and in 2009 he independently released his first album <a href="spotify:album:58yuIrRiypUNZT4CNiOMzo" data-name="My Favourite Delusion">My Favourite Delusion</a> under the artist name ParaDel. Since then, Rowly has endeavoured to release one album per year, however, since the birth of his children in 2017 &amp; 2020, time for writing and recording has been somewhat scarce, but Rowly continues to write, record and release whenever at all possible.
