Parched are a five-piece alt-rock band from Birmingham, UK - a raw and restless group formed during the isolation of the pandemic. Vocalist Conor Hayes and bassist Louis Maylin began writing in a small studio — Louis in the mixing booth, Conor in the recording room, one with a mic, one with a guitar, and both carrying years of pent-up emotion. That tension became their foundation: gritty, melodic, and unapologetically loud.
Their sound fuses the melodic grunge intensity of Basement and Dinosaur Pile-Up with the emotionally charged vocals and energy of You Me At Six. Every song is a release — a mental punching bag where melody meets chaos, and where listeners can find their own reflection in the noise.
