Hailing from Copenhagen’s Mayhem scene, Pardans are equal parts eerie lounge jazz and dystopian sci fi rock, with the occasional outburst of unadulterated punk rock energy.
Ever since their debut, the maverick four-piece has been a fixture in the city’s thriving DIY scene and brought their unpredictable live shows across Europe. After a pandemic-plagued hiatus following their carnivalesque sophomore album, 2022 saw Pardans return with a string of singles and live shows.
Their third album, Peak Happiness, is a Pollock painting condensed into 35 minutes of music, more accessible and explorative at the same time than its predecessors, while offering Dadaist visions of life in near-future Western society.
Pardans are Daniel Honore (saxophone, guitar), Gustav Berntsen (guitar, vocals), Oskar Dinesen (drums), and Rasmus Hastrup (bass).
