Parfait

French pop recording artist Parfait was introduced to music as a young child through classical piano lessons. But it wasn’t until 2013 that Parfait released his first track “Un Rêve”, a piano instrumental that revealed his hidden talent for music production. For the next few years, he tought himself dozens of skills — including how to sing, dance, produce and write music, graphic design, eCommerce, and much more — to move himself further in his independent artistry. During the 2010s, his recording activity was all over the place. From covers, to beats, to original pop/edm/rap songs with both French and English lyrics... Parfait tried it all. He still managed to amass over 200k+ plays, streams and views combined, while dealing with severe depression and health issues starting around 2016.

Born in Nevers, France, Parfait was raised in a dysfunctional family which lead him to move cities a lot and never really allow himself to have big dreams.. Until Michael Jackson suddenly died in 2009. This was a wake up call and a true epiphany for the 16-year-old, who for the first time in his life, had a dream : Becoming even bigger than Michael Jackson was.
The only issue with this insane goal, is that Parfait was so shy he couldn’t ask for water at a restaurant, he did not know how to dance, let alone sing. No chance of him hitting a big record deal that would create a clean path for him to make his vision a reality.
