Parish grew up near Lansing, Michigan and those midwest roots clearly show in his influences. Growing up with a heavy dose of D12, Eminem, Twista and Bone Thugz he also listened to a lot of west coast as well as dirty south. His songs have a bit of an old school feel and his variety of styles and subjects has something to offer just about everyone.
