Party Battleship plays original music devoted to elements of rock, new wave, punk, and post-punk. We are based in Charlotte, NC. contact: johnnyrollerball@gmail.com
Shalini started playing bass as a teenager in Kissyfish. She formed Vinyl Devotion from 1993-1999, releasing sets on the Widely Distributed Records and Parasol labels, respectively. 2000 saw two more full length releases on the Parasol label, another on Dalloway, and an EP on Paisley Pop. She plays electric guitar in PB and is the primary songwriter.
John is a Charlotte staple and a veteran of Come on Thunderchild, Electro-LUXE, Lou Ford, Snagglepuss, and his own original band Tyre Fyre, who released the full length CD “Let it Burn” in 2004. He is a singer, songwriter, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist in PB.
Adam, a Charlotte music veteran, has played in local combos Bellglide, as well as in Catch Fire, and recently with Mark Crozer and the Rels. He plays bass and sings in PB.
Jason played drums in 2000’s-era prog-rock android cowboy concept outfit Holster. During this same time, he held it down with the Situationals, who he continues to play with. Additionally, his work with Transmission Fields can be heard in their 2010 eponymous Spectra release. He plays drums and percussion in PB.
