The multitalented rapper and vocalist Patrick Dominick is a part of a new breed with a multigenerational sound. Born and raised in St. Louis Missouri, he was taught at a young age to put faith in God and do the work. He was raised in a strict Christian home. His talents were recognized at just the age of 2 years old as he was entered into a toddler's talent show in which he took home 1st place in song singing. His mother gave him vocal lessons and entered him in the children's choir at his local church soon after. The apple didn't fall far from the tree as his father played multiple instruments, and his mother was a singer in the adult choir for many years. His father introduced him to hip hop while playing Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls as his mother exposed him into the gospel world with Kirk Franklin and Bee Bee and Cee Cee Winans. It wasn't until high school that he discovered he had a knack for lyricism. He began rapping at the age of 15 and, for years, worked and studied his craft. In 2016, he released his first ever LP entitled Awake. He's gotten recognition from multiple artists, including the Social Club Misfits and Todd Dulaney, after opening up for their own respective concerts. His music is a mixture of R&B, Soul, Hip Hop, and Pop. Patrick's belief is that music can change the world with elements of faith, creativity, and relatability.
