Patryk Rynkiewicz

Patryk Rynkiewicz is a Polish jazz trumpeter residing and working in Poznań. He is affiliated with the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań. Fascinated by the broad sonic possibilities of the trumpet, he explores the world of jazz, electronic music, and ethnic music. He is a member of bands such as Unleashed Cooperation, Anomalia, Ulyanica, Skalpel, and Stanisław Aleksandrowicz Quintet. His musical education began with classical music, but he later completed his studies in jazz at the music academy and is currently a doctoral student. Patryk is conducting research on ethnic inspirations in the context of developing jazz trumpet techniques. He is deeply inspired by the European approach to jazz music, creating and composing music that emphasizes space and freedom.

In his career, he has recorded dozens of albums and performed at numerous competitions and festivals worldwide, such as Jazz Nad Odrą (Award for Jazz Individuality 2020), Jazz Juniors (3rd Prize 2021), Męskie Granie, OFF Festival, Nisville Jazz Festival, Amersfoort Jazz Festival, and Woodstock Festival.
