Paul Callicoat was born and raised in the foothills of the Appalachians in West Virginia. He has been involved in writing, performing, teaching, recording, and producing music for over 50 years in the tri-state area of West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky. Paul has played guitar in many bands including TERRITORIES who's CD "Unreconciled" is still considered a local classic as well as stints with Rob McNurlin, Jeff Ellis, Sasha Collete, Joe Lambiotte and Doug Imbrogno. He has been fortunate to play on many prestigous stages including The Americana Crossroads Stage and Radio Show, and Mountain Stage,
