Paul Parsons is an independent Christian artist whose music is rooted in testimony, redemption, and faith. Raised in the small rural community of Union Hill, Alabama, he grew up around church, country life, and strong values—but spent years wrestling with addiction, loss, and searching for purpose.
Before music, Parsons worked as an A.S.E.-certified master technician and served in the National Guard. His journey later took him through homelessness, prison, and the heartbreaking loss of two children—trials that nearly broke him, but ultimately became part of the testimony he now shares through song.
After moving to Denver for a fresh start, he found himself sinking deeper during the pandemic, until a series of faith encounters in churches, halfway houses, and correctional facilities changed the direction of his life. Recommitting to Jesus Christ and being baptized marked a turning point.
Soon after, songs began pouring out. Drawing from country, rock, rap, and worship, Parsons writes music centered on hope, perseverance, and the power of God to transform any life. His debut album, Let Your Burdens Drop, reflects that journey—blending original songs with faith-centered reinterpretations inspired by artists across genres.
Creating most of his work with just a cellphone, free apps, and determination, Parsons has reached listeners in nearly 100 countries. His mission stays simple: point people toward God and remind them there is still hope, no matter how far they’ve fallen.
