Paul "Sequence" Ferguson is a smooth jazz musician that crossed over into the hip hop genre where he achieved his greatest successes. In the mid 90's he joined rap legend Guru's band "Jazzamattaz". Paul toured Europe and America and recorded with the band for their "Jazzamattaz -Vol. 2" LP. In addition Paul co-wrote the song "Feel the Music" with Guru which became a minor hit for the band. Ferguson also was a music director for the film "Girls Town" which went on to be a Film Makers Trophy winner at Sundance (1996). Throughout the early 2000's Paul continued on to complete 10 studio instrumental albums. In 2007, Paul "Sequence" Ferguson met billboard chart topping record producer Michael DeBarge via the social media platform MySpace. The two hit it off and this brought partnership brought Paul "Sequence" Ferguson back to commercial music. The pair of DeBarge and Ferguson went on to secure multi-million dollar deals for names like Chubby Checker and compose TV national commercial campaigns for company's such as "Four Seasons Windows and Doors". In addition, Michael DeBarge opened Paul "Sequence" Ferguson to participating in studio work with acts such as Doc Ice (Whodini/UTFO), Joeski Love, David Ruffin Jr., KolordPimp, 2x Grammy nominee Skee-Lo. The pair went on to facilitate and co-produce Paul's son's album "Birth of 2.0". In 2013 the pair went their separate ways and Paul "Sequence" Ferguson continues to release independent recors under his own label PFF Music Co.
