London born multi-faceted vocalist and songwriter Paula Baxter started her musical journey listening to soul and Jazz artists like Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Chaka Khan, Eva Cassidy, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. After Graduating from theatre school and collage Paula had mild success performing in an original band managed by Norman Cooke.
Paula’s original music is a blend of soul infused jazz with elements of funk, disco, house and pop which she delivers with a unique vocal style that is sultry, soulful, powerful and distinctive. Paula’s debut EP ‘Experience’ was released in 2010 to rave reviews, the album 'Story of my life' is due for release in 2026. With so many great credits to her name it is no wonder Australia has adopted Paula Baxter as one of their most exciting and captivating artists to watch out for.
