Ms Benson started out as a back ground singer in her home town of Florida. She decided because of her style it was best to go solo. And she did by moving to Atlanta. Of course, the music did not go as plan until years later. Once she got started flash and gone was the dust. Later in the mid 2000 she traveled several cities and states performing her music and Jazz. Even though she travels less she still enjoys performing. She especially loves coffee houses because of the small atmosphere. She is more involved in her musical talent on the writing side. The first CD was Najane'. And she had plenty of help from MJ, her producer, on a few great songs. The Songwriters were MJ, Kim D. Ellis, Jarrod Edge, Tyrone Holmes, and Paula Benson. Lilly is her baby, my Lilly girl a beautiful cat, is always listening to her mommy sing and practice.
