Formed in 2021 by classical pianist Isabella Ashton and jazz bassist Dani Garcia, Paulo’s Flood began as an experimental rock group based in Denver. Soon after, drummer Erik McCready and guitarist Evan Farrenkopf joined their ranks. Their sound fuses jazz, classical, and indie rock influences, creating a uniquely melodic result. By juxtaposing driving rock anthems and dreamy psychedelia, their music hints at a simmering tension just below the surface.
