Pauly Deathwish

Pauly Deathwish is a musician and film critic from San Antonio, TX. While he led his own band called Pocket Symphonies, he is better known as the bass player for <a href="spotify:artist:2ho340nQGxHU6Jb28wXBMW" data-name="Young Heart Attack">Young Heart Attack</a> on their second album <a href="spotify:track:4seT13PilRJCRk4Y0fAn4J" data-name="Rock And Awe">Rock And Awe</a>.

After YHA ceased to exist, Pauly spent four years touring and recording as the drummer for Grammy-winning Cajun band <a href="spotify:artist:0zbxehhl5wjxmgJcS4StQh" data-name="Lost Bayou Ramblers">Lost Bayou Ramblers</a>. With LBR, Pauly appeared in the <a href="spotify:artist:6EtVgLNZHcSfz4vl0vd9FZ" data-name="Sylvester Stallone">Sylvester Stallone</a> movie Bullet to the Head, on the soundtrack to Beasts of the Southern Wild, on the HBO show Treme, and on the LBR album <a href="spotify:album:602q1t31UW1GA4TgnxDaP2" data-name="Mammoth Waltz">Mammoth Waltz</a>.

Working with such musicians as <a href="spotify:artist:2vaRNo2C9WlMNgKN2LJOL4" data-name="Gordon Gano">Gordon Gano</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:0rpMdBzQXf7aYRnu5fDBJy" data-name="Violent Femmes">Violent Femmes</a>), <a href="spotify:artist:320TrJub4arztwXRm7kqVO" data-name="Dr. John">Dr. John</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2KAaJOwfu8n93byx6YPRPa" data-name="Scarlett Johansson">Scarlett Johansson</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:6ETwPAEYFIvS0LX7XxMrcC" data-name="Nora Arnezeder">Nora Arnezeder</a>, Pauly was able to simultaneously be an in-demand studio musician and arranger in Austin and New Orleans.
