To combine a telluric sound, suburban echo of the stoner riffs from the West Coast, with a feverish poetry, the whole carried by a powerful common emotion. It is from this desire that Pays P. was born in a squat in the north of Paris, between two railroads, from the meeting of the poet Laura Boullic and the brothers Lucas and Pablo Valero (guitar/drums) in 2016.
A few dozen concerts later, in 2018, the trio met the New York band SAVAK during a common show in a packed Parisian cellar. The latter, impressed by the performance, invited them to record an album in their Brooklyn studio. This is where their first LP «Ça v aller» came to light, released in September 2021. Seven furious and sunny tracks in which resonate the heavy guitar strings of Earth, the haunting rhythms of Fugazi and the vocal flights of Alpes. A record praised by international media such as NPR, KEXP, Brooklyn Vegan or the Dutch magazine Maxazine.
