Born Juandre Chad Samery in Grabouw, South Africa, PBS Jannas is carving his own lane in the hip hop scene. Inspired by global stars like Drake and local Afrikaans rap heavyweight Luda G, he started making music just a year ago and quickly found his voice in the world of trap. Versatile and ambitious, PBS Jannas first rapped in English but has since switched fully to Afrikaans, aiming to put Afrikaans hip hop on the global map.
With three singles already out and an EP in the works, his sound blends hard-hitting trap energy with sharp lyrics that reflect both his hustle and his vision. Along the way, he’s collaborated with Mad Max the Rapper, building momentum and credibility in the scene.
More than just music, PBS Jannas represents a new wave from Grabouw — a rapper ready to elevate Afrikaans rap and make his hometown proud.
