Indie-pop trio Peach Lane is a Canberra outfit people have come to know and love for their nurtured production and dreamy soundscapes.
Since forming in 2018, Madeleine, Pierre and Hannah have played on many local line-ups and shared stages with the likes of Northeast Party House, Odette and Haiku Hands.
Their signature sound is built on dreamy layers of guitars, harmonies and production. Drawing influence from The xx, Lorde and Bon Iver, they blend live and electronic instruments to create a happysad sound that is uniquely their own.
Since their debut EP ‘Take This Day’ was released in 2021, the band have been burrowed away writing and pushing the boundaries of what they can make together across state lines.
Peach Lane’s latest release ‘again and again’ is a cathartic song that captures the feeling of pushing through hard times over and over again. The track is dedicated to Mads's mum, being released on what should have been her 64th birthday. The band wrote, recorded and produced the track by distance between Canberra and Melbourne. This is the third song off their sophomore EP due out in 2025.
