Young musical spirit with enormous energy, combines electronic production with wavy and soulful vibes from jazz, blues, r&b and rock. Versitile and adaptable, Pearly experiments with sounds from across the entire musical spectrum, and draws inspiration from a broad landscape of art and culture - creating a timeless experience boundless by genre and form.


You might have caught a glimpse of his energetic performances at festivals like Sarpsborgfestivalen, Månefestivalen, Summer Jam + local Oslo-clubs like John Dee, GLØR, Smelteverket, Café Sør, Uhørt.


On his debut-album «BOY INDIGO» released early 2019, experiments with a mixture of vibes from Electronic/EDM production, Hip-Hop, Trap and R&B.

Through the talent-program «MØST WANTED» 2019/2020, Pearly has been mentored by production-ace and singer/songwriter JNS, and Yunus Daar of Nora Collective.


Originating from Østfold - currently situated in Oslo, Norway - Pearly (Adrian Toftner Kølbæk) started his journey as an artist at a very young age. Coming from a family of musicians, including his grandfather jazz-crooner «Pippo the crooner», music/piano-teacher mother Ingvild Toftner and record producer/vocalist/drummer father Kim Kølbæk (Jocelyn High, Schæfer, Quantum Field Trip, Taiga Kush)- pearly has had the oppurtunity to explore, develop and hone his skills as a musician, with support and help from his family.


Years of experience, devotion and practice - «Pearly» is merely the latest alias of this creative soul.
