P.E.Johannessen aka PeeJay, was one of the founders and members of A-Team who was the first Norwegian rap group on a major label. The year was 1989 and PJ was 17. The label that signed them was at the time called Polygram (now Universal Music). PeeJay had been making beats and music for a several years before he was introduced to the legendary rapper – Jayski. They immediately clicked. This resulted in two albums: Rage and The Re-Enforcement (B.O.L.T.Warhead). In 1993 he established the studio called X-Ray Studios and over the next 10 years he engineered and produced many different artists like Kampfar, Jocelyn High, and Doopy to name a few. In 2003 he decided to move on to work in the live event industry, and writing and producing music was was put on hold. Until now.
