Ben Pelaperi.

Beni bir yerde, bir sahnede ya da bir şehirde arama.
Ben en çok, insanın kendi içinde kaybolduğu yerdeyim.

Hayatımın bazı dönemlerinde sesim vardı ama kendimi duyamıyordum.
İnsanların içindeydim ama kendime ait değildim.
Kendimden, insanlardan, hatta hayattan koptuğum zamanlar oldu.

Tam o boşlukta, içimde birikenleri susturmak yerine söylemeyi seçtim.
Sözler, düşünülerek değil… içimden geldiği gibi döküldü.
Çünkü bazı duygular anlatılmazsa ağırlaşıyor.
Bazı sessizlikler, insanın içinde yankı yapıyor.

Eğer bir gün bir şarkım sana denk gelirse
ve sen “bu tam ben” dersen…
bil ki o an, hiç tanışmamış olsak bile yalnız değilsin.

Çünkü ben de oradaydım.

There were times in my life when I had a voice, but I couldn’t hear myself.
I was among people, but I didn’t belong to myself.
There were moments when I felt disconnected — from myself, from people, even from life.

In that emptiness, I chose to express instead of staying silent.
The words didn’t come from thinking… they poured out as they were.
Because some feelings get heavier when they are not expressed.
Some silences echo inside you.

If one day a song of mine finds you
and you say, “this is exactly me”…
know that in that moment, even if we’ve never met, you are not alone.

Because I’ve been there too.
