Soulful and resonant, Canadian based singer-songwriter Pelch echoes the feelings of a season and a challenging year for a young audience that has only begun to expand. With a voice the size of a canyon, Pelch exudes a kind of soul and grit that doesn’t come along every day. Inspired by artists like Lewis Capaldi, Dermot Kennedy and Morgan Wallen, Pelch discusses the craft of songwriting with an uncommon maturity for a 26-year-old unsigned artist: “I want to reach as many people as possible,” he says, with a signature blend of ambition and humility. “Yellow Shirt” captured that yearning when it was released independently earlier this year, racking up over 1 million streams and counting on the strength of the most organic media campaign of all: word-of-mouth. Straightforward and haunting, the song was inspired by the loss – but mainly the life, of a close friend. Stunned, heartbroken, Pelch channeled those feelings that instantly struck an introspective chord with a million kids he’s never met, who clutched the track to heart.

Pelch now presents his third EP called "Power of Now". Each song tells a different part of his journey, from trying to lighten up the burden of the ones I love or to simply learning to exist in the now.
