Penn Francis

Penn Francis is a multi-instrumentalist, visual artist, and producer hailing from Los Angeles, California. His musical journey began at the age of 12, performing with various bands throughout the greater LA music scene. From 2012 to 2015, he served as the drummer for the band Wax Children before shifting his focus to solo endeavors as an artist and producer.

Since 2017, Francis has released three EPs, five mixtapes, and numerous singles. He has collaborated with notable artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:1SFhamIrUHoA2hfFWBAAqn" data-name="Bardo">Bardo</a> (of <a href="spotify:artist:0LklyUMMUhpIjMgYHlV0hN" data-name="Chicano Batman">Chicano Batman</a> ), <a href="spotify:artist:4pdoRs7yHNXakMobf8M9Oz" data-name="SASAMI">SASAMI</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5leJrR51QcKzkZqUNpYLFN" data-name="Oddly Shrugs">Oddly Shrugs</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4cxJUMXdHetYoijH951DRV" data-name="Sherwyn">Sherwyn</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4Ge8KCoNJJr1jvqbIt8HWm" data-name="Natia">Natia</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2xvMW90GTdcJXTzUmBZG6J" data-name="Grizz">Grizz</a>, and more, contributing both on stage or in the studio.

In 2023, Francis introduced two new monikers: <a href="spotify:artist:2yFUuquOE7GNjpkgfg6o4a" data-name="Pre-Dates">Pre-Dates</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6y0KuSJpJnPMlrZ7IVJwao" data-name="Bishop Gray">Bishop Gray</a>. Bishop Gray highlights his darker electronic and ambient instrumental works, while Pre-Dates is an indie and post-punk project that showcases his instrumental and songwriting abilities.

Francis has now relocated to Berlin, Germany and just self-released a new EP titled “SICKO” on 03/13/2025
