Penny Police is the alias of Copenhagen based singer and songwriter Marie Fjeldsted, who has impressed the press with her alternative songwriting and her airy voice.
Her latest artpop creation ‘Be Lucky’ is forward-thinking, yet accessible. It’s intimate, yet luxuriously detailed.
She has been compared to <a href="spotify:artist:1rKrEdI6GKirxWHxIUPYms" data-name="Agnes Obel">Agnes Obel</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:08j69Ndyx1P7RLO3Janb5P" data-name="Emilíana Torrini">Emilíana Torrini</a> but truly has found her own niche as MOJO Magazine pointed out when they made her a highlight at SPOT Festival in 2014 with the words “Penny Police is way ahead in the way she thinks music”.
