Brandon Perna - aka <a href="spotify:artist:2XVhOFDkqoWuzhsvTldSvL" data-name="PERNA">PERNA</a> - was born on December 7th, 2001. He was raised in Mullica Hill, New Jersey and couch surfed through towns in New Jersey. As a kid he was surrounded by mostly hip hop and rock music listening to artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:7dOBabd5O4CvKrg4iriHTM" data-name="Kid Rock">Kid Rock</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4VmEWwd8y9MCLwexFMdpwt" data-name="Method Man">Method Man</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:165ZgPlLkK7bf5bDoFc6Sb" data-name="Limp Bizkit">Limp Bizkit</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6deZN1bslXzeGvOLaLMOIF" data-name="Nickelback">Nickelback</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7dGJo4pcD2V6oG8kP0tJRR" data-name="Eminem">Eminem</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6XyY86QOPPrYVGvF9ch6wz" data-name="Linkin Park">Linkin Park</a> but was mostly fascinated by hip hop. At 14 he decided that he wanted to become a rapper, as stated in his line &#34;heard Shady and Wayne on &#34;<a href="spotify:track:3e21cX0CVwzkQXiHz7WUQZ" data-name="Drop The World">Drop The World</a>&#34;, they both made me want to channel my anger and rage through jotting words&#34;, pulling inspiration from both mainly <a href="spotify:artist:7dGJo4pcD2V6oG8kP0tJRR" data-name="Eminem">Eminem</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:55Aa2cqylxrFIXC767Z865" data-name="Lil Wayne">Lil Wayne</a> along with other artists like <a href="spotify:artist:2YZyLoL8N0Wb9xBt1NhZWg" data-name="Kendrick Lamar">Kendrick Lamar</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:53VAKbI2fXRs1PwG6DVToP" data-name="Mir Fontane">Mir Fontane</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6l3HvQ5sa6mXTsMTB19rO5" data-name="J. Cole">J. Cole</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7EWU4FhUJM1sZQgQKdENeT" data-name="Hopsin">Hopsin</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4cUfFbVZGSsJWdbfmkdxYq" data-name="Token">Token</a>, he started teaching himself how to create songs and rhyme structures. He released his first song in 2017 with three follow up singles and in 2018, aside from singles and features, he released a collaboration mixtape with his former rap partner. He released his first solo album in 2019 titled <a href="spotify:album:3a0oUoCsfmI5ITPBreabNG" data-name="Perna Thoughts">Perna Thoughts</a>, with a follow up album <a href="spotify:album:4wLhDG0hZOTgNjEqYjlHzm" data-name="Brandon Perna">Brandon Perna</a>, which introduced the world to his dark thought process. He released his third album Relive in 2020 with his two follow ups <a href="spotify:album:4TRTjQ060Luhzi0KU72Xeq" data-name="Perna Thoughts 2">Perna Thoughts 2</a> and Illuminati and announced he was going on an album hiatus.
