Beginning of 1984, 3 nineteen years old guys talk about starting a band to chase Sunday afternoon boredom in rural Hesbaya. That fall they start rehearsing and some time later playing live.
Inspired by bands as diverse as The Clash and Asian Dub Foundation, Fugazi, The Fall and Au Pairs, genres as British punk, New York Noise, (dub) reggae, nordic folk and soukous, it’s hard to label the band.
English being the main language for lyrics, also French, German, Lingala, Finnish, … and Swahili on the next album (Arobaini) are being used.
The back catalogue will be re-released digitally in the next weeks and months.
The new album is being mixed by Kramer and is set for March 2025.
