I began working on "This is what It looks like" in January 2023. My world had imploded at the end of the previous year. I'm sure there is is not a soul on the planet that has not at some point found themselves shipwrecked on their own personal island of suffering; a thing we all share then, and yet, a solitary thing, that is its nature. I spent 4 months writing and recording, alone. It was a lovely thing in the end, a journey of understanding, with all the emotion that entails. A tumbling forth of confusion and small awakenings, returning me gradually to a place of hope. Somewhat humbled, but ultimately with a new found faith in this world and those of us who dwell here.
