It’s Oakland in the ’90s, and the diminutive Peter Parclay has scraped together a motley pool of resources to produce two barely released albums: 1990’s dreamlike ‘Acceptance’ and 1992’s synth pop statement album ‘What Kind Of World. A largely self-taught musical genius, Barclay won over everyone who heard his work. But Barclay’s fame outside the circle was not to be, and he passed away far too young.
